Delete your account
Astra — com.astraapp.astra
You can delete your Astra account and everything in it yourself, from inside the app, in about ten seconds. You do not need to ask us and you do not need to explain.
From the app
- Open Astra and go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom, to Account.
- Tap Delete my data.
- Read what will go, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete everything.
What is deleted
- Your account itself, and the ability to sign in with it
- Your name, age, gender and intentions
- Every story written for you — the text and the audio files
- Every affirmation you kept
- Your usage history and streak
- Everything stored on your phone by the app, including your profile photo
This is immediate and permanent. There is no recycle bin and no backup we can restore from. If you want to keep a story, save it before you delete.
What is kept, and for how long
If you have ever subscribed, Google Play keeps its own record of the transaction. That is Google's record, not ours, and it is kept because tax and accounting law requires it. We do not keep a copy of your personal information after deletion.
Server logs may briefly contain a request identifier for up to 30 days as part of normal operation. These are rotated automatically and are not linked back to a deleted account.
Cancel your subscription too
Deleting your Astra account does not cancel a Google Play subscription — only Google can do that. Open the Play Store, go to Subscriptions, and cancel Astra there, otherwise it will keep renewing.
If you cannot open the app
Lost the phone, uninstalled already, or cannot sign in? Email support@coreinteractive.live from the address on the account, with the subject Delete my account. We will confirm and delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner.
