Astra

Terms of Service

Last updated 11 August 2026

These terms cover using Astra. Using the app means agreeing to them.

What Astra is

Astra writes personalised audio stories — guided visualisations in your own voice, about a life you want. It is made for wellbeing and reflection.

What Astra is not

Astra is not financial, legal, medical, or psychological advice, and it does not treat or diagnose anything. The stories describe outcomes as though they have already happened, because that is the form — that is a writing style, not a prediction and not a promise. Nothing here makes any outcome more likely, and no result is guaranteed.

If you are struggling with your mental health, please talk to a professional. An app that tells you a good story is not a substitute for one.

Your account

You must be at least 13 to use Astra. You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself, and for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else has got into it.

What it costs

Free

Three stories, once, with no card and no time limit. Stories you already have replay for nothing, forever.

Astra Plus

A monthly or yearly subscription, bought through Google Play. The current price is shown in the app before you buy, in your own currency, with the period it bills on.

Prices can change. If they do, we will tell you in the app first, and a change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

What you write, and what comes back

The wishes you type stay yours. The stories generated for you are yours to keep, play and share for your own personal use. You may not resell them or pass them off as a product of your own.

Stories are produced by AI models from what you tell us. They will sometimes get details wrong or write something that does not land. It is generated text, not a considered statement by us about your life.

Fair use

Please do not try to break the limits, automate the app, resell access, or use Astra to produce content that is illegal, hateful, or targets a real person who has not agreed to it. We may suspend an account that does. Rate limits exist so one person cannot spoil the service for everyone.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time, from inside the app or by asking us — see deleting your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why if we can.

The legal part

Astra is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.

Changes

We will post any change here and, when it matters, tell you in the app.
